Gave in last night and ordered Sky Sports and HD Premium , I watched the Bears vs Vikings game and have to say the PQ knocked the arse off ESPN HD Monday night football. Is it unusual for the Sunday night NFL games to be on Sky Sports HD 2 as I thought it was normally Sky Sports 3. What channel do the Thursday night games come on as I see the Bears vs Dolphins on this Thursday is Sky Sports 2 HD. Will Virgin ever get 3 and 4 in HD ?

Cool! Just been talking about that. How did you manage that, did you speak to VM CS or did they just offer it?

UK government to receive proposal for 'Channel 6'.

UK national newspapers have revealed that a former key broadcasting executive is said to be in talks with the UK government’s advisory panel to launch Channel 6, an integrated national and local television channel.

Just buy Five/Channel 5 off the pervert. Its cheaper, doesn't mess up EPG's and gets rid of the rubbish shown on there.

But really in the day of Digital TV 'Channel 6' seems more marketing apposed to being actually useful.

BBC Worldwide sell stake in Animal Planet.

Digital Spy is reporting that BBC Worldwide has sold their stake in Animal Planet to Discovery Networks UK.

NOTE: Before today Discovery Network UK only owned half of Animal Planet.

I am thinking maybe ''The new look'' Galaxy will be on DAB, Virgin and Sky only with Capital using the FM Radio Channels.

Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Media Boy can confrim that missing ''Zee'' Channels to launch next month in Ex-Telewest areas.

I have ask my insider today about the rumoured launches of ZING and Zee Punjabi in old Telewest areas on December 1st.

And I got the following back ''(The) Missing Asian channels will arrive in ex-Telewest areas on 1st December''.

Only missing channels from all areas will be - From December 1st:

WRN Radio
RTE Radio

Both are in Ex-Telewest areas right now.

Thanks Media Boy, No Offence to you BUT:

I see Virgin Media would rather launch Asian channels than Sky and ITV channels in HD :rolleyes:

Not sure if this is legit or not, and the fact that I have not seen anyone else post this here or on DS makes me think not but this was posted at another forum that I visit

I think it looks quite nice and much better then what we currently have.

Edit: Okay I see Nialli posted this on his blog earlier in the day.
