Listening to the commentary, sounds like Havant are all over them. This would be the best result if Havant win. :p::p::p: (Fingers Crossed) ;)

Hmm

Defiant boss Arsene Wenger insists the match stats prove Arsenal were the better side in Tuesday's humiliating 5-1 Carling Cup semi-final thrashing by arch-rivals Tottenham. (Daily Mirror)

Mind you when England beat Germany 5-1 they had more shots and more possession so  guess you can put a positive spin on anything, except the actual score line

You can't just go by match stats. A shot on target could be a shoot that rolls along the ground straight at the goalkeeper, not really a chance is it? You need to convert the chances which they didn't.

Yes but this is 'arsenal logic', that strange phenomena where despite overwhelming facts to the contrary, their team and supporters continue to labour under the delusion their team is the best in the land.

Yesterday I overheard an Arsenal fan talking to a Spurs fan, whereby the Arsenal fan said "You should be ok on Sunday, if you can beat Arsenal, you can beat anybody"

Oh the arrogance !!!!

Oh and a brilliant effort by Havant & Waterlooville today.

Anyone know why Spurs played in yellow today?

and the universe where Venger can't see two team mates fighting but can "see" the slightest hint of a foul on his players from 100 yards away

A bit disappointed at the result at Boundary Park yesterday, :(

Cheered up today with the Man United result, felt even better after the Man City game.:D

Did anyone else see that tackle by Robert Huth on Saturday, can't find a vid of it yet.

It wasn't really 'over the ball', it was over all three of them, serious GBH in my book. Sad thing is he got a yellow so according to the rules he can't be punished further.

Jim.
