Very sad indeed, I can remember his exploits with I.T.Botham at Headingley against the Aussies as if it was yesterday.:(

I also watched as the classic scorecard entry took place,

Lillie, caught Willey, bowled Dilley.:)

l remember it totally as l was at work and sneaking off to listen to their exploits on the radio.

No great surprise there sadly denphone really the same as i would have suspected.:(

Our Pakistan slow bowler at Essex Kaneria had to be dispensed with after years with us,as did Mervyn Westfield.:(

Due to match fixing allegations.

Yes corruption is endemic in Pakistan cricket and has been for quite a while and unless the punishments are severe enough l still think it will happen as some players are easily convinced by easy money.

Bairstow looks a very fine prospect along with several others. Although some of England's results in other sports might not reflect it yet, there seems to be a lot of young talent about. The future's looking good methinks! :)
