Anyone else think Premier Sports is set to become known as Eleven Sports?

Just a hunch we are feeling.

Due to BT Sports doing it when they was starting up when they took over ESPN (ESPN UK and Ireland network).

Wouldn't surprise me at all - they could well be owned by the same people (also as Defunct Setanta Sports)

It's funny this, because BT sport were showing the Rangers V Shkupi game last week, and tomorrow the return leg is on Premier Sports.

Until mid August the TV rights are up to the home team.

I mean Celtic are only broadcasting their game on Wednesday on their web Site CelticTV.

Premier Sports have just signed a huge flagship deal with the Pro14 rugby though. They're Irish owned and are marketing Premier Sports very heavily in advance of the new rugby season to us rugby fans. Why would they be taken over by Eleven sports? You obviously know way more about this kind of thing than me but I'd be surprised if they'd do all this then change the name / merge etc?

Well, it seems that the streaming of sport is growing in popularity, Den. Much to your chagrin, no doubt! :D

Eleven Sports are talking about deals to have CHANNELS on sky at no extra cost to the customer - not streaming at present.
