I can believe that, I can aso believe Saville and Sutcliffe were a bit to friendly, with hindsight of course, although my dear old mum wouldn't let us watch shows he presented when we were little people as he's weird and creepy.

Interestingly Saville could've been stopped earlier as one of his victims found to courage to came forward and name him as her attacker only to be disbelieved and dismissed as her attacker had dark hair and Saville had bleached his for years (wonder who told them that, him I'd wager), if only they'd bothered to check the wrestling programmes of the time, they'd have seen him with his original dark hair.

Not much is mentioned of his wrestling career, the only things I know about it is Jackie Pallo hated him and Adrian Street had a very stiff match with him

That's my massive moan for the day anyway vaguely attempting to drag the thread back on track

Tried to book an NHS appointment with my dentist, only to find I have been taken of their list because I haven't been seen since before covid. Phoned round all the local dentists but they are mainly private. Got an appointment booked, starting price for 'afforable private treatment' is £49 up front.

Surely they should send you a letter telling you that you will be removed.

But why do that when they can say we have no appointments for NHS when they can charge a minimum £49

You may find that is only an inspection. Treatment will be FAR more expensive.

Food places I like to visit closing.

I fully expect I will not get any treatment on first visit and that I will have a very large bill at the end of it. I tried phoning the urgent dental service but I was 30th in the queue.

Don't put it off any longer SnoopZ, false teeth (if you can stand having them in your mouth) will be far more expensive in the long run. I am lucky, despite my age I still have all my own teeth. :)

Businesses that say that adult prices start at 13+, this means that charge 13-17 at sometimes double the price of the children's rates.

This includes greyhound stadiums, and then they can't bet because the law says 18+ is an adult.

It should be illegal for business to do this practice.

Just had some test results back (calprotectin). Not the news I wanted. The good news no signs of Crohn's (remission), the bad news, it confirms short bowel syndrome. I don't know whether to laugh or cry or both.

999 for an ambulance in the wee hours last night was like an answering machine "Due to heavy demand, the current waiting time is over 5 hours".

One actually arrived after 3 and a half hours, and the Paramedic's decision was to immediately made to rush off to hospital, ASAP, "Critical Care Required".
