But, Eleven Sports may also be (in which case PS may disappear?)

Probably because they haven't acquired any more:confused:

They say they have but can't reveal who yet. Presumably the usual contractual secrecy.

They certainly won't be giving it away, but that's not to say that VM couldn't enter a wholesale deal with them and include this as part of a package.

I already pay subs for Sky Sports and BT Sports so I for one would not be paying for yet another sports channel. I think Sky and Virgin should be trying to do a deal so they can provide all the sports channels in one easy payment. Virgin might get that but not so sure about Sky though.

ok then they¬re not yet offering the full package. To me its the only way many of us could afford to sub to them all,if they`re bundled together.

Lets see what comes out in the wash in these next 3 weeks as they might have a plan and then again they might not.

Sorry, I see what you mean - I was referring to Sky Sports and BT Sport. The Eleven Sports channel hasn't launched here yet.

Has it launched anywhere?

Has it got anything worth watching?

Not yet as it doesn't exist at the moment although they operate in other countries

At the moment just Serie a and La liga

I'm a little confused as Eleven Sports advertise themselves as 'award winning' when they don't actually operate and have acquired rights to 2 European leagues?

Presumably these didn't attract great viewing numbers as the current broadcasters didn't bid enough to keep them.

I for one only ever watched the Barcelona/Real la liga matches and never bothered with serie A

Eleven Sports 1 will be 100 per cent football showcasing some of the biggest leagues, best teams and leading players; and Eleven Sports 2 will provide premium fight sports, eSports and extreme sports for dedicated fans, plus football overspill from Eleven Sports 1. IMG will produce the output for both channels from its production HQ at Stockley Park.

Four live Event channels that ‘pop up’ to prevent schedule clashes and enabling fans to access several simultaneous matches at one time will also be utilised. Fans will also have access to LaLigaTV on Eleven Sports – the 24/7 in-house channel which features documentaries, magazine shows and other exclusive La Liga content.

The new services will be available on Eleven’s soon-to-be-launched online streaming platform, ensuring it is easily accessible without the need for set top boxes, bundled packages or contracts. Pricing will be announced soon.

There is nothing stopping 'OzSat' awarding 'Raider999' an award for best posting for today in this thread - you even award it yourself.
'Raider999' can then call himself the 'Award Winning Raider999' from this day forward.

I'm not sure what awards they have won but they are in operation.

Most British people won't pay another penny just to watch Football from Italy and Spain , it's nice to have if it's included in your current sports package but if it costs more I suspect many won't bother.
