Personally I think you're pathetic. I support England,Wales,Ireland or Scotland when they're playing foreign opposition. To do otherwise is very narrow minded and stinks of jealousy.

That’s fair enough when England are in competition with Wales, but to go for whatever team opposes England at other times shows how detached you are with the rest of the UK.

We are not your enemy.

Unfortunately, he is not in the minority.

There are certain teams I dislike in the premiership but if they are in Europe I watch hoping they win.

However, a large majority of Celts seem to despise anything English

I know, it is regrettable that so many Scots feel that way. Not a single one of my friends has such feelings towards the Scots.

I really don't understand where this animosity is coming from. Maybe someone can enlighten us.

Ok two reasons l have heard recently 1 the second Severn crossing renamed the Prince of Wales bridge ( he doesn't even live here!) 2 look at the bevan formula. Hope this gives you some idea why Wales feels 'run' by England

That is no excuse for having the animosity towards English sporting teams as its parochial small mindedness IMO..

What pathetic reasons, Itshim. It sounds like you really struggled to come up with them.

Think the clue is in the title "prince of Wales" if anyone has the hump it should be the English.

I thought the be an formula was the way Scotland get more money than they deserve per head - but I may be wrong.

I stopped reading when he said he was a celtic fan, that explains his hatred, I don't know any celtic fans who want England to win....

I suspect he's not a very fervent fan of the Welsh national team in that case :D
