Mike Newell has spoken out again, but this time it is not about bungs, but female officials.....

Quote:

"It is bad enough with the incapable referees and linesmen we have but if you start bringing in women, you have big problems," said Newell.
"This is Championship football. This is not park football, so what are women doing here? It is tokenism, for the politically-correct idiots. "She should not be here. I know that sounds sexist but I am sexist, so I am not going to be anything other than that."
I think he is in big trouble this time :redcard:

It will be a crying shame if Wenger's little temper tantrum drags Pardew down with him. Pardew's done nothing wrong.

The rumour is that Pardew celebrated the goal by saying

"one up the **** , you ****ing French poofters"

Nothing wrong with that? :p:

How wrong to get rid of dowie at least give him some time to turn things around. Sacked after 12 games and he is in the quarter finals!!!

England should have won. And they would have won if they had pressed a bit more. Holland were dire.

I know its a friendly but England's inability to kill off poor playing teams is whats going to cost them dearly in competitions.

Just thought I'd mention that Wales won 4-nil last night - you lot might have missed it considering how much coverage it was given in the papers today.

Nah, the truth must be told. No pace whatsoever. Apparently, Van Basten thought Holland played 'reasonably well' (Volkskrant). He must have been watching another game
