Re: Trump wins US Presidency for a 2nd Term

Trump listens to people who tell him what he wants to hear. Someone has told him that Greenlanders are trying to loosen their ties with Denmark and this means he must surely have an opportunity to swoop in. If he actually does want to get old of it, then when he fails to do so he will fire someone and move on.

Canada is a non-starter but he probably thinks there is an outside chance of Greenland.

But there are a lot of MAGA voters that are wondering WTF he is doing wasting his time on this stuff, they voted for him to cut the price of eggs, so to speak.

Re: Trump wins US Presidency for a 2nd Term

The problem for the MAGA cult is that Trump is a second term president. He doesn’t have to worry about re-election so he not quite so at the mercy of domestic politics (though only to some extent - if he upsets enough people in the first 2 years, a poor showing at mid-term elections could render Capitol Hill totally unmanageable in his last 2).

Donald Trump would have been convicted of illegally attempting to overturn the 2020 election result, were it not for his presidential victory last year, special counsel Jack Smith has concluded.

The 45th president “inspired his supporters to commit acts of physical violence” on January 6 2021 when they stormed the US Capitol by knowingly spread a false narrative about election fraud in the 2020 race, Smith determined in the final report on his investigation published in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Jack wrote a report that stated Trump “inspired his supporters to commit acts of physical violence” on January 6 2021 when they stormed the US Capitol by knowingly spread a false narrative about election fraud in the 2020 race. He didn't scream anything.

The grown-up, Biden, is indeed getting on with the grown-up stuff.

Trump himself is doubtless whingeing in a dark corner of social media to his echo chamber knowing, however, that he evaded justice thanks only to being elected.

and yet he's presided over the fastest economic growth in history and not added 7 trillion to the deficit like donnie did, perhaps that's the grown up stuff Kursk was talking about, why is it whenever a Republican leaves the presidency there has to be a rescue or recovery act to clean up after them going all the way back to Reagan

Donald Trump's inauguration moved indoors due to 'dangerous' cold

President-elect Donald Trump's inaugural address on 20 January will take place indoors due to dangerously cold weather being forecast next week in Washington, he has confirmed.

The address, as well as other speeches, will now take place inside the US Capitol's rotunda, rather than outside the building.
Shouldn’t be an issue - Trump supporters already know how to get into the Capitol without an invite…

It'll still be the biggest crowd ever, also in a break with tradition Joe Biden isn't going to incite a violent mob to overthrow the incoming government or relentlessly bleat about the election being stollen
