Create & Craft owner Hochanda Global did make filed for an application notice of intention to appoint an administrator on October 4th.

I have seen reports that a new channel is testing on Freeview via PSB3 - ONLY for viewers who can pick up:

That stream on PSB3 seems to taking up the space of an SD channel according to what I saw on DigitalBitRate, so given the timing is likely U&Eden.

Interesting choice of multiplex, maximum geographical coverage but not available to all UK DTT devices. No way of knowing the current proportion of still in use Freeview devices that are DVB-T2, but the ratings change for U&Eden should give an idea of this and Freesat’s current reach.

One of my still regularly used DTT devices is DVB-T so will miss out.

The PSB3 multiplex is also known as BBC B.

Eden is own by BBC Studios

So maybe it costing BBC Studios nothing to broadcast Eden on Freeview.

I still can't work out why BBC Studios are not also.

*Launching both U&Eden +1 and U&W +1 on Freeview via PSB3.

PSB3 has over 10Mbs free on multiplex

Hochanda Global in Crisis:

I have seen reports on DS Forum that Create & Craft has been SOLD by Hochanda Global's administrators to TJC.

That's not true.

FACT: Hochanda Global's administrators has still to be Appoint by Courts and that takes 10 working days to do and Hochanda Global only fill the paperwork in on October 4th so an administrators won't be Appoint until October 18th or October 21st.

As of October 18th 2024:

Here is the up to date list of space on Freeview being unused.

24 hours slots (For sale right now):
Old ''Talk Linear'' slot on SDN/COM4.
Old ''Seen on TV'' slot on COM6.

24 hours slots (For sale in coming months):
Old ''Al Jazeera English'' slot on COM6. (Not for sale until December 23rd 2024).

Part time slots:
Together TV slot on SDN/COM4 not in Wales (6pm to Midnight only).

Everyone TV (Owner of Freeview) rules say ''A channel provider may cease to make a channel available for up to 12 weeks in any rolling 12-month period without losing its LCN. The channel provider should notify Everyone TV in advance in writing of its intention to temporarily cease broadcasting its channel. If the channel does not resume broadcasting within the 12-week time limit, then the LCN will be deemed vacated and can be re-allocated by Everyone TV in accordance with this Policy.


So base on that Policy.
I feels that would also mean that BBC, D3&4, SDN or Arqiva can't give their slot to a other broadcaster under a '12-week time limit has ended.'' All information right at time of posting.

It can be advertised whenever Arqiva sees fit. This was an end of contract situation, not a suspension of broadcasts.

RUMOUR: Vaibhav Global owners of TJC and Ideal World is said to be set to take over Create & Craft.
