I would more rather say what VM did is lieing.

There is numerous lies in their statements.

You dont have a problem with VM saying this?

I could have got a tech for next Tuesday but i didn't want to take a day off work again so managed to get a Sat morning install for the 19th.

Mine's coming on Thurs afternoon - the missus is off that day anyway and I've got an early finish. I've self installed the last two hubs myself but I guess there must be some levels issue like Whizzard says.

It is a modem/router combined and the modem side can handle 8 downstream channels and 4 upstream channels. The router side is c**p!

Thanks, would you say its worth upgrading then?

It is for a 50% speed increase without a monthly increase, infact my bill has gone down 50 pence.

So what do I have to do to upgrade? If the monthly cost has gone for the 20mb package do I get price reduction? What is this number I need to phone?

I realise that the amount of people who have a Super Hub on 20Mb is probably about 20 people, all on here. I'll harang VM next week I think. :)

Next week is a good idea. I'm sure there are more than 20 people with a superhub and it's not clear for us yet which way this will go.

I forget to add in my previous post that customer services is closed on Sunday while they do system upgrades. So hopefully all should be fine for next week. Fingers crossed.

Sorry I meant, is it worth having the SuperHub over the wireless-n router I already have? Or do you have to have the SuperHub to upgrade to 30mb?

Thanks

You have to have the Superhub as you need DOCSIS 3.

Who says the monthy cost has gone? You have a service, you pay for it. If you wish to upgrade to 30Mb ATM it will cost you £30 for activation. Meantime you keep paying the cost of your 20Mb service.:D
