Virgin Media close NME Radio?

I know that NME Radio is to close soon on Digital TV and DAB Radio so I have been keeping an eye on Channel 975. And since about 1pm today I have seen that NME Radio is not broadcasting on Virgin.

All other networks is still broadcasting NME Radio.

For plasma owners the FIVE DOG is one of the worst for retention. That and Eurosport.

The annoying thing is that, up until the rebrand, the FIVE DOG was actually quite unintrusive. Muppets!

Is each hid a channel testing and do we know if that channel is Hd or SD.

...this is the response to my post on this issue from spiderplant (who's in a position to know such stuff) on the hidden channels a few days ago:

The good news is that there are at least 12 transport streams and they can easily cope with all the HD and SD channels that VM will likely launch over the next few months.

That link on wiki states Virgin will launch the Sky basic Hd Channels sometime.before 2011 , I thought they were set to launch around the time of Sky Sports Hd.

To be honest i wouldn't read much into what wiki says it can be tampered by anybody even sky fanboys.:D
