Paul Merson said that about norwich vs man city, and he had 4-0 man city. I suspect cricket is higher

4-0 :D

30mins in and this performance is a disgrace. I hope Wenger can see this game, this pace is a big boys game. Arsenals positioning is all wrong.

Wengers tearing into the team. Says the supporters were the best thing about Arsenal today and a lot needs answering.

Sorry but he needs to look in the mirror too. Its easy for me to say this in hindsight but for him its something else. Ox had the best spell of the game running at Liverpool via the flank, using his pace. His involvement in the middle of the park was non-existent. Everything was soo damn slow! Arsenal managed to grab a hold of the game when the pace was increased. Its not rocket science! Poor poor lazy lost performance.

You need a sense of humour..from the BBC site

"Fulham score with their first attack as Lewis Holtby clips a ball over the top, Steve Sidwell runs beyond Juan Mata and Darren Fletcher to meet it on the full and steer into the corner from 10 yards. Old Trafford shocked. Ferguson and Hucknall holding back the tears...

I could see that coming, for the last few minutes of normal time they were passing around trying to play keep ball instead of going for a third.

Still don't blame Moyes , 81 crosses, the most since 2006 but only 18 reached a United player, that's not Moyes fault. RVP seemed to be going through the motions with no spark, Fletcher is way off the pace ATM, back four very static. If anything Moyes is unlucky but luck can and does change.

At least I had a change of scenery on the way to the match. Tram not running direct due to work at Victoria so I drove down and parked at Media City, very impressive place.

United need a clear out and to get some players in who'll work for the manager. I think going into this season with this team on the basis that Moyes will see what he has got and that they won the title was a mistake. The team clearly doesn't want to play for the manager and are struggling to adjust to life after Fergie. Time to move them out.
