Just bought a new Shark vacuum. The Mrs wanted one as the Dyson we have is getting on a bit and with the new house soon she decided it was time.

Terrible wifi connectivity.

Very happy with the ease of set up and usability - the set up process is simple & quick, and links easily to Echo devices.

My complaint is with the device wifi - I have 350Mb/s down & 35Mb/s up with Virgin Media, and get this speed consistently, and my house wifi is provided by 5 google mesh wifi hubs.

All my other devices get 250Mb+ (except Smart Bulbs and Smart Plugs, which get between 10 & 50Mb), but the Ring Stick Up Cam gets 1Mb - it’s only 12 foot from a Google Mesh hub, with one brick wall in between, with a RSSI reading of 74-79, which leads to a lag of a couple of seconds from when someone gets in the camera range to when we are notified.

Even when it was set it up, only 2 feet from the google mesh hub, I was only getting a RSSI of 34 - I’ve checked it’s on 2.4Ghz, so it’s not that.

Initially happy, now quite disappointed...

After Googling you're not the only person not happy, consider sending it back for a refund.

And you can tell her you need a PS5 for the new house too as it's only fair.

I'd like pans like these but at £171 for the 14 cm pan a bit pricy.

Nothing like as expensive as those you have listed although they do look nice as our latest saucepan is now known as our porridge saucepan.

First cut today (second cut of the year) - very pleased with the mower.

We have a back lawn of about 120 square metres, and it took about 10 minutes; it’s a lot quieter than the previous corded electric mower.

It used about a third of the charge - my only (slight) niggle is that the handle (which folds) isn’t height adjustable; it didn’t cause me a problem, but if you’re taller than six foot, it might (the next model up, the 38Li, has an adjustable handle).

Usually the waterproofing has a lot to be desired and sooner or later the wet gets in and then it's down hill.

Yup ... you want to try using anything like that in our part of the world (West Central Scotland, at the southern end of the highlands). We’re lucky to get 2 seasons out of such things, and I say season deliberately. They just don’t work at all in the winter, it’s too dark.

I too was an avid Autoglymer until I discovered Meguiar's products. incredibly good stuff for paintwork at least. Still going through my leftover Autoglym products like the tyre shine, wheel cleaner and interior cleaners and so on.

Bilt and Hamber for clay bar is superb as well. You don't need a rapid detailer solution as lubricant (which breaks down the clay bar very quickly). you just use water.

Might have missed something, but isn't the 2.5gig port on your router the WAN port? So why are you updating the card in your PC as all the other ports on the router are just 1gig? I don't understand what your hoping for other than being £30 odd out of pocket??

Just paid for my PS5, and also bought a compatible 2tb drive to fit internally when Sony actually unlock the functionality (ridiculous price, not far off the price of the console itself)

There isn't any compatible internal drives for the PS5 yet, I would hold off and not take the risk, as Sony hasn't released a compatible list yet.

The good thing is you can use an external as PS5 game cold storage, that's what I do.

WD SN850 is certified to be compatible

By WD that is…

It’s on a money back guarantee anyway so no loss

Not what I've read as Sony hasn't said yet and sites that mention it say probably or briefly said to be compatible but then removed.

Also there maybe noise and heat issues with using an internal as Sony has tweaked the firmware to boost the internal fan speed when 1 is installed.

My opinion after using a PS5 since day one is an internal isn't needed when you can store on an external and it only takes a few mins to move when you wish to play and any PS4 game can be played from an external, I don't yet have space issues.

You will love the Dualsense controller though the haptics are so good and different, make sure you play Astro bot that comes free it really shows how good it is.

Just bought a 2018 Audi A3 1.5 Sportback S Line COD in Black, looks like a new car and will hopefully collect it on Monday subject to payment clearing on time, It's replacing a 2010 Astra VXR so it is a huge upgrade in spec and fuel economy and didn't want to risk buying a diesel.
