Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4

The wee one is going to his new high school tomorrow and Tuesday to give him a taste of high school and to get a chance to meet his new peers and teachers, he is really looking forward to it. I hope he enjoys it and hopefully he will know someone. As a mother I'm really hoping that their will be someone in his class from his primary. Can't believe he is starting High School full time after the summer where has my wee boy gone he is growing up fast, too fast IMO.

That's the wee one off to High School for two day's, when I dropped him he looked tiny compared to the one's in 6th year but then again they will be around 17 or 18 years old. I'm sure he will be fine along with his fellow pupils the Mum's looked more nervous than the children.

Sunny day here, washing out. ;)

A mystery hospital appointment which caused a lot of stress turned out to be for physio - hydrotherapy. Normally have to wait around 8-10 weeks to get in and not 4-5 days.

Such a huge relief.

Very pleased to hear that peanut but I can understand your worry especially with the tests you had.

Glad you had a good night hope Osem Jnr #2 had a great time too :)

Thanks :tu:

He sure did! He had a big dish of pasta and vegetables first followed by, from the grill:

3 x large Brockwurst sausages
4 x whole garlic mushrooms
1 x lean beef quarter pound burger
1 x small baguette - half in the form of garlic bread and the other plain.
1 portion of BBQ chicken - I cooked a whole small bird spatchcock style.

My God that boy has hollow legs but then he's incredibly active so he needs the energy and burns it all off.

Sounds you all had a great time and I know what you mean about hollow legs it must be a boy thing LOL. Sometimes the messages are not even out the shopping bags and my two are like vultures raking to see what goodies have been bought.

In the blazing hot weather I smashed my PB by almost a minute coming in at 22.25. Absolutely amazed and well happy. My next target is a sub-20 :)

Well done Russ.

Cheers :)

Was taken on as a Mystery Shopper by one of the largest organisations in the country that gets contracted by companies to undertake this sort of research and am off on my first 3 assignments today. The kind of information I have to record is pretty extreme and the methods I have to use almost make this like spying :erm:

Looking forward to it though.
