Washed down by a bottle of Rose for the ladies, and a couple of pints of Northern Monk Faith Hazy Pale Ale for the gents…

If the bread costs extra, eat elsewhere, can't remember who said that but I've claimed it as my own but don't stick to it, was whispering it to the other half in a reasonably fancy restaurant the other week when we left the big smoke and ventured into Essex (Felix, popular with z list non entities on reality tv).

Anyway this week I've mainly been eating;

Speck, nice, spicy taste to it
Gorgonzola, piccante kind, very strong taste
Prosciutto, complimented the speck and gorgonzola well
Burrata, very buttery cheese, like it which is good as there's loads of it due to other cheeses not being in stock
Salami feline, sweet, peppery and delicious
Cannoli (hazelnut cream) Omg such a treat, love 'em with a cuppa

Yes so this week I've been eating like a King thanks to Ms Ntl :tu: thanks again btw

Ah the days when a waiter comes round with a bread basket before your meal and you pick out the roll you want. Then you unwrap that little square of butter that's never enough. Now they charge you £6 for it. :p:

Cheese scones, very triggering for me, last time I had one was in a quaint cafe in Sheringham about 10 years ago, I asked for the cream tea and it came with a cheese scone, marmalade and squirty cream out of a can :erm:

Just made my lunch for work. Tiger bread, Saint Agur blue cheese, ham, cucumber, and tomato. Delicious!

Courgettes again. Fun to grow but they never stop producing the bloody things. Got to pick them quickly otherwise they become marrows, and nobody wants them...
