That was before Virgin TV decided to auction off the better slots in the genre, allegedly. The likes of GB News and Talk TV (remember that) made a land grab.

That's always a thing with odd numbers...

Thanks, so by removing the channel they've ended up with a worse EPG number (serves them right :D)

Was PBS America SD previously on 187?

i agree good time to get it too. Always need a yank news channel and we lost that nbc news now channel quick didn't we. still always wanted the fox news channel for the lolz but sadly that never happened.

not having fox news and sky Atlantic never really made any sense to me. Atlantic especially they honestly thought people would 1) move to sky 2) buy nowtv purely to watch game of thrones.

Most people i know just downloaded it illegally if they were on virgin media. not me as i just thought it was a weird geeky little show but with sex scenes to spice it up.

I say that as a geek myself.

With CNN and CNN Fast now also added to Pluto, it's getting difficult to avoid it. It's amazing the changes a US election can bring.

You can get Fox News International on Roku or Fire TV but it isn't free. I think it is about £4.99/month but you do get a 30 day free trial. Not as much fun though if you have to pay. CBS News is available on Roku along with Haystack News, an aggregator on which you can watch ABC News, CBS News, Bloomberg etc and, of course, CNN. Roku isn't the best for news apps although it has lots of US local news channels and right wing news channels (many of which now have subscription fees). Fire TV has NBC News, which is a 3 in 1 app with NBC News Now, MSNBC (subscription only) & Today (which will only work in America).

Overnight changes:
On channel 923 Gold has been renamed Gold Radio. - the full stop is, unusually, a part of the new service name.

Made me laugh how they are being disingenuous by advertising CNN on the Discovery Bar as a 'new' channel. Perhaps they could remove Discovery for months and then advertise that another new channel has launched!

No it's not, it's a channel that was pulled that has now been restored. What definition it is in is neither here nor there.

GOLD wasn't classed as a new channel when the UKTV channels were pulled and returned in HD.
