My 360 boxes have been updated to software version 4.33 overnight. There are no noticeable differences that I can see. Unless I'm missing something (quite possible) any changes and/or improvements must be behind the scenes.

The third episode of ‘Until We Die’ from Channel 4 hasn’t been added to the ‘on demand’ system on the 360, annoyingly.

Does it appear on the V6s?

"Before We Die" on the V6 - episodes 1,2,4,5,6 are available; no episode 3.

Series 1 episodes 1 to 10 and series 2 episodes 1 to 8 are all available on Sky Q ;).

The drama that's showing on Channel 4 is a remake/adaptation of a Swedish show from a few years ago. There hasn't been a Series 2 of the UK one, and there aren't as many episodes per series either. Those are also available on All4 in the Walter Presents area.

The 6 episodes of this series are available as well on Sky Q, rather then the earlier series it is based on.

Back to Virgin, on the V6 all six are available on the All4 app, one of the reasons it is an issue that app isn't available on the 360. Perhaps the earlier poster will have access to All4 on their TV, or another box, if not, it can be seen on All4 on a computer.

Virgin TV Go claims 5 episodes (so is missing one) but I can't seem to get that to work on C4 content at all at the moment to check.

Yes, I have access to All4 on my TV, but I’d rather not watch it that way owing to the unskippable advertisements.

Perhaps someone at VM could upload the missing episode? (Pretty please?)!

Of course, sensible people don’t rely on On Demand; they record.

Nice theory.

But with 1Tb available on the Virgin hard drives, that won’t record much.

How many E180 tapes did you have back in the day, Old Boy?

Our household record a lot (IMHO) and our V6 never really moves out of the 40-50% range (currently 39%). Most of that is long held content that the mood has never been quite right for.

1TB is fine, especially with the reduced space required as the new encoders have been implemented by VM. We used to be 50-60% full before that.

That’s just ridiculous. Plenty room for recording and watching then deleting. These devices are not for archiving material that doesn’t belong to you and you will likely never watch.

56, some of which were four rather than three hours duration. Most of them were full! At least you could buy more if you needed them.

I watch everything within about an 18 month period, and then they are deleted.

I appreciate that you may do things differently, but I watch TV when it is convenient to me. I even record News at 10 because I’m not always ready to watch it at the scheduled time. Watching it at 2am is not that unusual.

We all use our TVs in different ways. I am watching it exactly in the way that Virgin advocated.

If it wasn’t for the bookmark (watchlist) alternative, it would be absolutely hopeless.

Yes, 1Tb I’m sure is ok for the way you use it, but you probably watch a lot of TV ‘live’. I don’t. Everything is pre-recorded or bookmarked. Scheduled TV does my head in - I don’t have the hours in the day to waste so much time.
