I can reveal some Freeview Changes dates for September for your diary.

*Small Freeview changes set to happen on Thursday 5th September.
*Major Freeview changes set to happen on Wednesday 25th September.

I'd be very surprised if there were any "major" changes on Freeview. A lot of tiresome changes that mean everyone has to rescan seems more likely.

Ofcom has given Rewind TV a licence to broadcast as a linear channel on Freeview.

Up to FIVE - 24 hour slots - are being unuse on Freeview right now.

That's not free, the reason Shop On TV etc are only available outside Wales is because Wales has E4+1 on SDN. The D3&4 slot, normally used for E4+1, is occupied by S4C in Wales. (from memory)

Freeview has FOUR - 24 hour slots - being unuse on Freeview right now.

Also COM4 has a part time slot being unuse in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

UK Terrestrial TV Changes is reporting that Ofcom has given a following broadcasters DTPS licence in the last two months:

*Rewind TV
*Son Life TV
*U&Eden

Meanwhile GREAT! real and GREAT! movies extra licences have been removed.

Two SD Channel linear tests has been removed:

on COM5 & COM6

After after November 2024 only the SIX hour slot on SDN not Wales will be up for sale.

Here is the latest info I have on what new Channels may launch soon to Freeview UK:

Rewind TV - set to launch on Freeview Channel 95 on Sep. 18th.
U&Eden - Rumours say channel set to launch on Freeview in November 2024.
Sonlife - Sonlife has been a go-head to launch a Linear Channel.

Information screen on Channel 235 has reveal that Al Jazeera English will close on Freeview Channel 235 on September 30th.

*1=Talk TV old broadcasting slot has been on resell by SDN to a new broadcaster since July 24th 2024.
*2=Seen on TV old broadcasting slot has been on resell by Arqiva to a new broadcaster since September 20th 2024.

November:
TBC - RXTV says U Media is set to launch U&Eden on Freeview (Mux TBC)

January 2025:
TBC - Arqiva can launch a new 24 SD Channel on COM6 (Soon to be Old Al Jazeera English slot)*3

*3=With Al Jazeera English closing on September 30th 2024 under Everyday TV (Who runs Freeview, Freesat and Freely) rules Arqiva will not be allow to put Al Jazeera English slot on COM6 up for resell until December 23rd 2024.

That is why Ideal World was not broadcast over 11 weeks and was took over by new owners but is still on Freeview Channel 51 for.

Create & Craft is NOT broadcast LIVE or taking orders tonight. Here is the latest information I have:

Companies House say Create & Craft was dissolved in July

Create & Craft has not been paying their suppliers.

Create & Craft postphones LIVE broadcasts until Tuesday.

Are Create & Craft doing a Seen on TV on us?

Are Create & Craft being took over?

The following changes will happen on October 16th:

57 > U&Eden will launch on COM?
74 > U&Dave Ja Vu new channel number on Freeview (Was Channel 57)
74 > U&Yesterday +1 will close ONLY on Freeview
