It’s a very clever virus though, it may save its best efforts for the second half or even extra time.

Having said that, and Football now being more 'business' than sport, how about they follow the guidelines for other UK businesses ;) |
Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
First solid confirmation that PIF have indeed negotiated a contract with Poch. Key being PIF have initiated this contact not Newcastle.
They're expecting to takeover the club next week. |
Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Its certainly going to be a pretty long time before fans are allowed to attend football matches if this is anything to go by.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Can say that the Coutinho link comes from Poch and that he's looking to set up a loan to buy.
This is still all hypothetical though. It's all a bit dangerous with suggesting Poch is pulling strings for a club he hasn't even signed for yet. The strategy will include some loans as they're looking at replacing a fair few players and will need to offset the first window costs somewhere with FFP being relaxed but not axed. Kalidou Koulibaly looks to be on the radar as a permanent signing at £70 million. |
Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Chancellor Angela Merkel and the premiers of Germany's 16 states had announced that they had given the green light for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 to restart in mid-May.

{On Friday morning The Athletic reported that the EFL will tell clubs in League One and League Two there is no chance of playing any more games and ask them to vote on a method to decide promotion and relegation.} Nice swerve by the EFL . . . whatever the outcome there will be clubs unhappy at the final decision, any potential legal actions thrown towards the EFL will be met with "nothing to do with us, you lot voted for it" Typical high level management, all money no responsibility :D |
