On the subject of HD channels I`d love to see channels broadcasting +1`s in HD. If it happens what`s the betting they`d be on Sky only?

ITV Be has been confirmed by ITV as launching on Virgin Media on October 8th.

Maybe nothing but Virgin Media is being followed on Twitter by TruTV - new channel from August 4th on Sky and Freeview.

Will not happen - Virgin Media (LG) own about 7% of ITV now.;)

Maybe Discovery and LG will give ITV some All3Media shows now to full up ITV2 and ITV Be from October.

The trailer on their D-Sat tests says available "Everywhere from 4th August" - I take it that means all platforms

Ozsat is spot on , I've just watched the D-Sat test myself and it does indeed say available everywhere from August 4th , after having a good view I can't say its something I'll be watching.

Update from a Rumour poster source on TruTV.

Not 100% certain (That TruTV will launch on Virgin Media) but last I heard they were still in talks with both Virgin and Sky.

More about TruTV:
-On May 14th Broadcast did report that TruTV will launch in the UK will launch on Freeview, YouView and Freesat.
-TruTV got Sky EPG from Canis Media who sold Bid Shopping old channel number for Price Drop.

Now we know why Sky Sports News is on Virgin Channel 501.

Sky Sports News to get new onscreen look from August.
