I suspect this has more to do with a huge money making transfer and him hoping for a 'sincere' apology to result in his punishment being reduced on appeal than anything else.

Wasn't it reported the other day that Barcelona demanded he make an apology before they'd bid. I'd still like to know how he can be transferred as I listened to the ban being read out by FIFA and they said all administrative sides of the game were covered by the ban to.
