I was going to wait till Black Friday, but they were reduced today, so bought them.

I’ll be on the lookout tomorrow for a 1TB NVMe internal SSD and a 34" 21:9 monitor in the Black Friday deals (I’ve got 2 x 24" monitors at the moment, but they’re both about 7 or 8 years old).

I’m looking at these for the 1TB drive, and will research this evening for the monitor.

Quite fancy this for the monitor, but more research underway - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/gigab...mo-00b-gi.html

No deals on what I wanted, and the monitor is on 1 to 2 months delivery, so I bought the 21:9 monitor and the Sabrent NVMe 1TB.

Don’t know if “bought” is the right word but the Beemer came with leather seats and one of the side panels had worn through so I had it replaced and fitted. Cost me £130 and a trip to Leicester but they did a fine job and the seats look as good as new :)

Has lots of mixed comments and maybe a bit cheaper in store but if I go to store I spend fuel to get there and likely buy stuff to stock up or something looks interesting. (It's called the £100 visit and you only wanted batteries.)

If you have a valid code enter it where it says and the price will get reduced at checkout, it's as simple as that nothing to worry about.

A tumble dryer - previous one has just popped it's clogs (it's 17 years old, so can't complain); can't get the parts for the old one, and even if we could, it would cost 2/3rds the cost of a new one.

Happy because I used my Blue Light card, and got 20% off.

There’s a good deal on Echo Dot 4th Gen with an Amazon Smart Plug on Amazon (don’t forget to use the "smile" prefix to get Amazon to contribute to your choice of charity) at the moment.

I’ve just bought the above for £29.99 - the normal prices are £49.99 and £24.99 (total of £74.98), so that’s a great saving.

Strangely enough, the Echo Dot is the same price with or without the Smart Plug.

Using offers/deals on Amazon, I’ve bought 3 Echo Dot 3rd Gen, 1 Echo Dot 3rd Gen with LED display, an Echo Dot 4th Gen, 2 Amazon Smart Plugs, and 2 Phillips Hue Smart Bulbs, all for under £125.

Many games are released now with numerous (some game breaking) bugs.

What better way to test a game than get the general public to do it, then throw patches out to fix things (Microsoft, we're looking at you too) :D

So what are you going to do with your crazy unusual purchase?

A Bloom & Wild letterbox flower delivery - they’ll surprise my wife when they turn up on Saturday...

Bought a couple of weeks ago but just delivered - a Nectar mattress with pillows, quilt and quilt cover etc. Apparently it'll be all puffed up and ready to go from about 7pm this evening!

Samsung S20 FE 5G Navy SIM free as there is a cracking deal on this phone at the moment with Amazon reduced from £700 to about £500 and it comes with a Snapdragon CPU and still has the great camera, it's a huge upgrade from my S7.

40th birthday presents for our son and daughter-in-law.

Expensive mornings shop on line, and could have done with them not having been born within days of each other, but they so deserve every penny I've spent.

I don't plan on asking.

I'm always quiet when I'm outside. It's good to be a considerate neighbour.

Update - easy to install and use (and link to Echo devices).

Terrible wifi connectivity.

Very happy with the ease of set up and usability - the set up process is simple & quick, and links easily to Echo devices.

My complaint is with the device wifi - I have 350Mb/s down & 35Mb/s up with Virgin Media, and get this speed consistently, and my house wifi is provided by 5 google mesh wifi hubs.

All my other devices get 250Mb+ (except Smart Bulbs and Smart Plugs, which get between 10 & 50Mb), but the Ring Stick Up Cam gets 1Mb - it’s only 12 foot from a Google Mesh hub, with one brick wall in between, with a RSSI reading of 74-79, which leads to a lag of a couple of seconds from when someone gets in the camera range to when we are notified.

Even when it was set it up, only 2 feet from the google mesh hub, I was only getting a RSSI of 34 - I’ve checked it’s on 2.4Ghz, so it’s not that.

Initially happy, now quite disappointed...
