If the latter, you are wasting your life.

I disagree.
My TV 360 is rarely above 5%.
We record and watch about 8 hours of programs on average a day.
Retired couple.

Recording percentages can have long periods of not moving once you get into viewing rhythm. It doesn't mean any of those things are true.

We watch a lot of TV content, watch a fair amount of On-Demand services, but still a minority ot total viewing, and timeshift a very large percentage of content. And our recording percentage doesn't fluctuate much. And we record a lot.

Agreed. We record plenty to watch on delay... The quarter past the hour start time for ITV dramas so that you catch up to live by the third ad break. These are usually deleted on the same day.

Ah, that would explain it. Most days, I only get just under a couple of hours of viewing in, but more like 4-5 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

Unsurprisingly, you've made incorrect viewing assumptions about others which are illustrative of your failure to understand the television market as a whole.

My Sources have just confirmed that BT Sport ESPN will change its name to BT Sport 4 sometime by 2023.

Normally TV on from about 5pm to 11pm
Never or at least rarely watch streamers (Netflix per perhaps 2 to 3 hours a week).
Never ever watch at the start of a show and always fast forward the ads .
Just don't keep program once I have watched it . Just counted programmes and at this moment I have 14 shows to watch ,none more than 8 days old. Most go before the next episode records:dunce:

That’s what forums are for, jfman - to inform. I take account of what I read. Hopefully, you are doing the same…

Hmmm, I suppose. I guess it’s just surprising it’s taken seven years for you to first consider how people use PVR devices as part of their current viewing mix.

As the average, rational consumer makes purchases according to their preferences (and not yours) and suppliers serve the whole market it strikes me as a fundamental misunderstanding.

Or they watch soon after it's recorded or within a few days. I watch plenty of TV and my V6 rarely gets above 10%-15%.

But KriZbii also posted a following:

"There are a few permanent rebrands to some non-movie channels coming over the course of June and July too."

Do he mean Sky Sports or Sky Basic (Sky Max, Sky Crime and Sky Comedy and so on)?

Eurosport UHD - the 4K service has appeared on Channel 523 for coverage of the French Open at Roland-Garros.

BT Sport 1 HD Final has been reactivated on Channel 532 for tonight's UEFA Europa Conference League Final.

I did wonder that but if not BT Sport ESPN rebranded as BT Sport 4 is 1 possibility.
