Isn't there a message centre on Tivo?
I've seen it on screenshots, but they should probably use that to get stuff across.

As for the remainder of the cable boxes, wouldn't it be ideal to put a message centre in the Help & Info section of the software?

They usually just harass you for 2 or 3 channel changes with a 'press blue to close' message.

They just used that to inform TiVo customers of the changes to iPlayer (backwards EPG and search).

I'm still thinking of picking up one. The deal breaker is being able to take the V+ upstairs for no addition fee. Makes the £3 Tivo fee seem nicer :p:

Give these guys and girls pride in the tv channel changing tool in their hands! For too long it's been lightweight and flaccid. Give us a full length epg with the extra inches of tv channel content in crystal HD clarity we deserve!!
