Ring up with a fault and see what they say, you might get an engineer visit.

Do as above or call up about an upgrade to a V+.

They aren't installed any more, but some of the old ones just keep on going.

The first three versions of the Pace 4001 are the only ones being actively removed from the field, but there are still a few of those left too.

Not so it seems :confused:

I phoned up not long ago when we were it seemed dead (no channels after resets at all), they just sent a 'hit' and that was that.

I phoned up about a V+ the other day after seeing the ads, they wanted £75 for a 'box swap' because I've got no need for a 2nd STB and wasn't prepared to pay an extra £5 odd a month for it

Does your STB have any issues at all such as the need to constantly reboot it, if so ring up and see about getting a technician visit, he possibly will replace the box.

The V+ comment was aimed at the other poster, but they are brilliant.

I've an ordinary Samsung STB still..I too have nowhere to stick a spare STB and so won't pay the exorbitant installation fee as a consequence..Why pay £5 for something I can't use?

What model is the Samsung and is it grey or silver.

It's silver and it is a SMT-2110C if that makes any sense.

That is the latest V box that we supply apart from the V+ and the new HD box so you are up to date with the latest equipment.:)
