Harry Turtledove - In The Balance.

The second volume in Turtledove's 5 volume 'WorldWar' alternate history series.

Incorporates elements of both science fiction and alternate history. In Worldwar, aliens invade in the middle of the second World War.

Just finished Seven Ancient Wonders by Matthew Reilly - A very fast paced Indiana Jones type thriller.

About to start Third Secret by Steve Berry - A similar genre but with the main character solving more mental rather than physical puzzles.
