Wild Turkey 101 - wow that extra 10% really does hit you, taste buds and head! it was £10 off a bottle at Amazon recently so I thought I'd give it a go as I really like the normal one. This one needs some ice and some time to calm it down a bit :)

A brandy and Coke, we had a stressful day , The guy on the top floor left his tap running with the plug in and flooded the girl above and also us, The water was pouring in through the boiler cupboard , It was full of towels which helped to soak up the water. I actually thought my boiler had burst, Could have been worse if we had been out. So I needed this Brandy,

We brought back 3 litres of 5 star from Cyprus. Have around 1.5l left, making it last for next trip. It was on offer when we were there at about €15 per litre, maybe a little less.

I'm celebrating it being half way through the week by having another, well a couple actually. This is the 7 star stuff which is a bit smoother than the 5 star but they both go down just as well.

It was either this or empty the dregs of Asbach which are left in the drinks cabinet: The squaddies favourite, along the same lines as Metaxa flavour wise. Well worth picking a few bottles up if you're ever passing through Germany.

Nothing wrong with being a bit indulgent now and again Tinky as we only have one life and must make the most of it as anything can happen so quickly in ones life.

Lidl's Abrachan Triple Oak Matured Blended Malt Whisky

I normally drink a single malt when having a drink, sometimes bourbon, but saw some good reviews of this, and it's under £20 so thought I'd get a bottle in for Christmas. It's very nice, smooth, quite fruity, very good value for money, I've had worse costing a lot more!

Yip some of the own makes fair just as good as the real stuff usually at half the price.

Here is a example on my Mother in Laws Christmas tipple :)

Like oa lot of Belgian beer, doesn't taste anywhere near as strong as it is, and I think this is one of the weaker ones in the box!
