I am happy to give support to Crawlry Town, and cheer them when I see them...on the understanding that when they play Man City (in premiership, champions league etc) that my loyalties lie with Man City first. :D

Note that I don't say same for my scottish team Hearts..I think I'm pretty safe that Man City and them will never meet, and that includes pre-season friendlies :D

Re: Football Season 2011/12

D-day really.

If Spurs lose today and Newcastle pick up 3 points they only need a draw at Everton to finish top 4. That would also put Newcastle into 3rd for the time being.

So many outcomes, Arsenal could find themselves 5th if both Newcastle and Spurs win.

Any other than a win for us today if Spurs win, I'd call it quits bar something spectacular from Arsenal on the last day.

All will reveal itself this afternoon.

City will probably dominate the game but the simple fact is Chelsea done the same for a good 80 minutes. You let Cissé in and this man will make a fool out of you.

For all Spurs fans out there, just found out that on the spurs web site www.spurs.co.uk that the legendary Spurs captain Steve Perryman is in hospital following a heart op. He is now in intensive care.

I think that next seeks game with City and QPR, you will see loads of bookings and red cards, guaranteed.

I think that QPR will shock everyone, they need the points to stay up, all the City players are a load of wet blankets who will fall over with a puff of air, just to get a free kick.

I just hope that Spurs knock off Arsenal from 3rd spot. I just hope we get champions league football and not that silly Europa cup rubbish which is not taken seriously by any club thats init.

Two points to make, being a former referee, the ball was over, but only just, this is seriously where we need goal line technology.

When l used to ref games l used to make sure that my lino's looked at these lines, and even on corners l used to make sure that l was standing on the line within three feet of the goal posts to insure that if the ball was over then l would signal a goal.

Not like the refs do in PL games, you are talking about big things nowadays, and the costs of losing and the aggro that it brings.

Second thing is, this Top four or Five finish, being a big Spurs fan, obviously l want Spurs to finish Top four, but what happens if we finish 4th or 5th can someone explain ?

Right if you finish 4th and Chelsea win the CL then you will qualify for the Europa league but if you finish 4th and Chelsea lose in the CL final then you will qualify for the CL and then if you finish 5th then you will qualify just for the Europa league.

Arthur lucky for you I doubt your games had video replays to show if you were wrong or right by an inch.
You used to stand on the goal line at corners? Thats a ridiculous place for a ref to stand.

Really would like to see Bolton stay up but don't think they'll get a result against Stoke. They really blew it yesterday, 2 - 0 up.

Well done Wigan, good luck to Bolton on Sunday.(No offence to QPR but I don't want to see TWO local clubs relegated)

Very busy yesterday working on M'vila story. Deal 99% done. 22 million euros, 4 years. Great signing for Arsenal and player is delighted

A the moment deal is done with Arsenal finishing 3rd, could slightly change if not but he will still sign. He chose Arsenal over Inter Milan
Excellent news if true. M'Vila is exactly who we need.

;) M'Vila has been rumoured constantly since we went in last season. Different to actually been close to being done.

You did also say the Vertonghen deal was pretty much done but it appears not at the moment ;) That Agent ITK guy is keeping quiet about that one. :D Loads of people asking him about it and he not saying anything. Think he has deleted the Tweets as well.

Javier Perez fell down the stairs so no comments from him too. i hope the Vertonghen move to Tottenham isnt true. people saying game time promised by Tottenham sealed it for him. should be interesting to see what Mr Perez says when he gets on twitter.

Well done the Hammers!! A very convincing victory over 2 legs and plenty of goals to boot. Just hope we don't manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory at Wembley now.
