After 38 years it has finally arrived - I have my ADD diagnosis this afternoon. Part excited, part bricking it. The assessment itself is just a series of questions but the implications of the results are immeasurable so this evening I could either be in a good mood or CF could have a very grumpy admin around the place (thereby stealing Paul M's thunder for a while :D).

Yes l know exactly how it feels getting a official diagnosis of a condition as l suffered in silence for many years before l was finally diagnosed with my medical condition and when l was told it was a blessed relief and it took a lot off my mind after that.

Just to add to the good news above, the long suffering Mrs Osem passed the practical examination element of her massage therapy course this morning. :)

She won't find out the actual marks until Sept. but at least she can now move on the the written exams in a few weeks time feeling more confident.

It's still Attention Deficit Disorder but I refer to it as ADD to make the distinction from ADHD which is when people have the same symptoms but show signs of hyperactivity. I get that a bit but not to the extent that in my case it would be that as opposed to ADD.

If he's going to do that then he ought to incorporate something I saw on the Viz Top Tips Facebook page the other day.

Obviously with Dilli in on the joke, he should turn up on the day with someone pretending to be his guide dog. Not in costume or anything, just a bloke on all 4s wearing a lead and making occasional 'dog noises' and when anyone approaches them, the dog-bloke should whisper "I've been doing this for weeks now and he still has no idea!!".

If possible get someone to YouTube it - imagine the laughs :D

Oh I don't even think dillii needs to borrow a guide dog.

Just turning up in his cast with his white stick and dark glasses should get quite an interesting reaction. He could also point out his 'pinging glasses' which should be able to help him drive forwards although, he would probably have to test to see if looking towards the rear view mirror gives enough pings to help him reverse. Maybe the Manager of the Car Showroom will be able to clarify that point befor dillii takes the new car on a test drive? :D

Well they do have reversing sensors on a number of cars now. It may be that you won't need to look in the rear view mirror dilli. I'm still waiting to find out about the blind tennis :)

If I /did/ go I certainly would get someone to video it :)

BTW I've never driven a car at any point (only forklifts) so it would be a toss up what'd happen anyway even if i COULD see properly :)

There is a video - and it may turn up on you tube at some point, when I'm feeling a bit more fluffy ;)

In the mean time you may look at this one....

Sheer class dilli, you have to let us know how it is that you can be so upbeat mate. I believe that "rooting your phone" is considered to be a criminal offence in certain locales. Not sure about the "customised rom" I'll do further research and get back to you :D

It's the same as jailbreaking the iPhone and that's not illegal either ;)

Oh dear dilli! Rooting is an American euphemism. I was trying to make you smile mate. Never mind eh? :D

I think the place you are referring to is where criminals hide their phones where the sun don't shine.:D

Have a nice stroll mate. Oh yes, you're right, rooting is Australian. I think I first heard it said by Kevin "Bloody" Wilson :)

Glad you enjoyed your time away Den. We had a great time too. Our concert was fantastic. It was nice to meet all the friends that we usually see at these concerts.

Food from home. Got back with a suitcase full of proper cheese, borrelnoten (beernuts), stroopwafels and Paprika Chips (crisps).

Eight kilos of cheese in the fridge now. Should see us through the next 2 to 3 months :erm:

Weighed myself this morning. After all my running and attempts at healthy/healthier eating I am now 13 stone 13 :)

OK it was actually 13 stone 13.8 but still it's under 14 stone, something I've not been in more than 2 years :)
