Trying to renew the house insurance. As it was in my dead husband’s name it’s not straightforward. I’m hanging on through esure chat. Of course they are incredibly busy and keep saying they appreciate my custom…..��

Just go with someone else, it's usually cheaper than renewing with the same company.

Actually it had only increased by £1.20 and eventually I got sorted out. The issue was getting it changed to be in my name. We will see how this year goes and then see if I can get a better deal next December.

I usually spend a couple of hours with my neighbour on a Sunday afternoon enjoying a couple of vimtos, however her hubby has just told us she had a fall yesterday and hurt her hip and knee, and is not feeling 100%, So I am off to try and find a good film on the telly, cheer myself up. :(

Thank you all for your kind wishes. Turns out Mr T has had a stroke and has a blood clot on the brain, the part that controls speech. They are going to contact Derriford about a procedure to remove the clot, then he will need therapy to regain his speech.:bigcry:
