As with the case of the female referee's assistant who Andy Grey and Richard Keyes slagged off, I couldn't care which gender anyone is as long as they do a good job and being female has zero bearing on it IMO. Football still has a male-dominated attitude to women in the game are likely to get some resistance/abuse so as long as that gets dealt with I say bring them on :)

I'm sure there'd be training ground banter that she'd probably take on the chin and dish back out, completely fine imo but what Keys and Gray did was just utter bollocks, they can claim banter all they want but it just wasn't and the tone in their voices said it all.

I don't understand how 50m payable over 3 years is a proper punishment.

In a way I think what they did was beneficial. It highlighted what I think was a popular but generally unspoken issue in the game. It got dealt with correctly and encouraged a lot of top players to speak out about sexism in football.

Exactly - especially to a team with big money.

It isn't punishment, as Russ pointed out earlier. It has little to no effect on Big teams.. now imagine if someone like Crystal Palace or a barely stable team got slapped with that, they'd be pretty much ruined.

''Sorry Palace you're Bankrupt, but you're alright sheikh mansour, we'll take it in Fivers please''

Garry Monk appointed full-time Swansea manager.

Man City have been sanctioned for the bankrolling not for not balancing books which makes the 50m over 3years even more of a farce. Palac doing the same would be equal because the revenue coming in from the inflated sponsorship deals.

Very much so. It's not often you get a player with the club running through his veins being made permanent manager.

Looks like LVG will end up being our manager

The question we have to ask is what MU supporters think of the prospect of LVG becoming the new manager of MU.
