But if by some weird chance that they did, there would be no reason to exclude TV shows as there is currently no service on VM offering TV shows as PPV or digital purchase AFAIK.

I don't know if people are aware, but Liberty has its own streaming service called MyPrime. Perhaps this may be the solution to the problem.
By the way, MyPrime is "free" on UPC's (Liberty's) top tv packages, sounds familiar, doesn't it?...
