More Sky Sports HD Channels will launch by August.

As of March 2014 the regional BBC HD Channels has still to get approved by the BBC Trust.

Yes, I would like to know when all the BBC regions are going HD as it is a pain the backside to change to SD after watching the national news.

Typing in 101 at the end of the national news in HD to the London regional news isn't much effort, having the local London region in HD is hardly worth the effort

BBC reveal Commonwealth Games 2014 from Glasgow info.

From July 23rd to until August 3rd:
-BBC Three and BBC Three HD will broadcast from 9am everyday until August 3rd.
-Viewers will also have the choice of up to seven extra streams on BBC Red Button (depending on your receiver).
-while those with BBC Connected Red Button will have access to up to 17 streams.

So, if the theory goes that VM won't launch any new channels whilst significant sporting events are occurring for fear of something untoward occurring (minimal likelihood but massive PR problem if it does, who won't forget ITV HD's Tic-Tacs fiasco?) then we have:
- World Cup: Thursday June 12-Sunday July 13
- Wimbledon: Tuesday June 24-Monday July 7
- Commonwealth Games July 23-Sunday August 3
This would suggest to me dates of w/c 2 June or w/c 14 July for the remaining for Sky Sports HD channels to launch.
