Due to posters like BomberAF I think I will wait until my insiders or Virgin Media confirm BT Sports as coming. All others are just rumours in my eyes.

Volume 4 of Coming Soon to Virgin TV (great job by the way, MB) seems to be full of rumours, conjecture or wishful thinking about BT Sport and Sky Atlantic but is there any more news about either Netflix or LoveFilm or, even better, both coming to Virgin Media? Both of these were rumoured as being looked at as possible apps. My personal wish-list would contain all of the above.

A) Not all been 'rumours, conjecture or wishful thinking about BT Sport and Sky Atlantic'.

I did confirm some UKTV Channels are set to be renumbered tonight.

http://mediaboyblog.blogspot.co.uk/2...some-uktv.html

B) I have not seen any real update on Netflix or LoveFilm in months.

What are you on about? I have simply reported that the TV magazines have re-introduced the VM channel numbers from next Saturday. You can look for yourself if you don't believe me.

Given that VM have not removed ESPN from the listings, this is all adding up, don't you think?

You will see what is happening anyway in the next few days so no point in arguing!

Also, to be fair, the media have been reporting on BT Sport and Sky Atlantic, so it is not all 'rumours, conjecture or wishful thinking' although some posts have gone off at a bit of a tangent at times.

I think that is fine, but I do object to people posting what they would 'like to see' as 'fact' with absolutely no source information. Time shows them up again and again but still we get sucked in.

I remember reading in one of the newspaper TV listings magazines last week that they had issues with supply of BT Sports listings, and as such they weren't able to be included that week. I think it's more likely to be somehow related to that, to be honest.

Not to say I don't think that BT Sports will be on Virgin in the near future. Just that I don't think it's connected to this.

I don't see how this relates to TV and Satellite Week re-introducing the VM channel numbers for ESPN.

I am a bit surprised to read what you've said though, because the BT Sport listings have been available for all the mainstream TV magazines. Maybe some of the mags that are free with the newspapers have earlier deadlines.

I was joking Old Boy, suggesting it was BomberAF putting the listings back in the magazines in a continued effort to keep confusing people!

I wasn't arguing at all!

Probably advisable there's far too many people who skim the forums for info and post like they have inside info ;)

This forum has it all magazine/newspaper listings , employees being told to no longer advertise things as exclusive , sources in both camps quite frankly its a must read every day it's certainly the best form of comedy I've seen. :D

To be honest, I love watching this thread. The bitching about Virgin and BT is more entertaining than listening to all the drama in my family. Roll on September 7, when my relative goes home. Coming on 22nd for her birthday, so in a way I'm hoping that BT Sports doesn't come til after September 7th so I have something to look forward to every day.

As i said if it turns out bomberAF was right all along i'll gladly be tattooed or at least write his name on my backside in biro.

media boy- good work as always probably a good strategy too. too many emotions at the moment! i'm emotional off the lack of bundesliga. if someone told me i could watch Monchengladbach v Hannover 96 on saturday i would hug them so much and pretty much cry openly in front of you all.
