OK I might be slightly biased but I think (if the season end the way it looks like it will) this year will be MUCH better. What better way to show the football sugar daddies that you can spend hundreds of millions on players over the space of 2 years and still end the season several points away from top?

Looking at the league, Man U have 62 pts we have 27 pts with 12 games left which means we can get 63 pts.

All we need is a few results to go our way and we could win the prem. :D

not overly surprised. I seen the comments before the match about how liverpool were about to go to top four. I was puzzled as I have seen nothing from liverpool to back that up. Once liverpool win 10 in a row...I will say you have momentum. Liverpool supporters are so desparate for success, a win or 2 and they suddenly are back.

Not FA, Premiership set the fixtures with the Sky money in mind. The Premiership doesn't care as much about English success in the Champions League as much as The FA might. They still want the teams to do well because it reflects well on the league but obviously not enough to risk losing viewers for games in their regular time slots on Sky.

Shame though, I fail to see how a 3pm Spanish kickoff would disrupt the attendances the football league.

That blackout is as good as dead now to be honest, lets face it. Online resources and pubs pretty much kill it.

There is a rule that no live football can be shown at 3pm on a Saturday. Premiership, Championship or elsewhere. The rule doesn't apply over there but it applies to broadcasting here, the rule applies on any football irrespective of where it's from.

Sky simply cannot broadcast it. They may be able to broadcast the second half dependent on the time that kicks off. The game itself will have to be moved if it is to be on UK TV but I don't see that happening.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

I think the new one looks smarter with the collar and the sleeves. I rarely buy shirts anyway, £40 to wear an advert most of the time. I go to games dressed normally albeit with a red t-shirt or scarf.

Years ago my mate's wife used to work as a supervisor in one of the contract sweatshops where they made football and rugby kits for Adidas, Reebok, Mitre etc. and she would often bring home rejects off the production line for the next season's jerseys (mostly very minor stitching defects).

A load of us got spotted on telly wearing the next season's Liverpool kit at Wembley during the 96 FA cup final. Don't think anyone gets away with doing that these days :)

thanks i'll try this although it may be advisable not to, well not me anyway. the material is really sensitive to heat.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

Why would you want to change it anyway? The shirts represent a season and Fabregas was part of this season plus he was awesome. Good memories.

A score draw would be a excellent result for United.
