Re: Moans and Pet Hates - Part 8

Devastating news today that my old school friend who I have known from primary school 75 years ago passed away last night. We have kept in regular touch over all these years. I am wondering if the worry over her husband's testicular cancer has hastened her demise. :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

RIP My pal Agnes, miss you kid xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sad to hear.

A number of my classmates have died over the years, either in accidents or natural causes.

I lost 2 really good friends in their early 30s one from a motorcycle crash and another suicide. The most tragic part was they were brothers

Turning up with a chainsaw would attract too much attention and gives them enough time to escape and/or run away.

A cattle prod would be easier to disguise.

Have I been putting too much thought in to this?

Have you seen scarface, let that be your inspiration to achieve solitary perspiration

I know I am moan moan moan but today I had the worst experience at the hands of the NHS in my life.
11 hours in an unconditioned room. Humiliation due to lack of communication. Hours and hours just waiting for meds they they forget the most important drug.

And on top of all that 3 new friends in the form of kidney stones one blocking my right Kidney tube ( dunno the name) causing excruciating pain that possibly has past into my bladder now as the pain has gone but now I have to wait to pass it

Woke up this morning with a dull ache in my lower back that got worse but is managed with Ibuprofen so far

I googled some of the terms in my notes to see what they were and it looks like the is a mild infection and inflammation caused by the stone I am hopefully going to pass soonish. it is in the tube on the way to the bladder 4mm so not huge apparently but 4mm on the route it has to take does not sound fun to me hahahaha

It sounds as though you are having a rough time Jay. <<hugs>>

Probably me just being in Mother Hen mode. ... but if you suspect the infection is worsening, and you've not been already given antibiotics don't delay contacting the DR. Passing the stone won't stop any infection and once a UTI get a real hold it definitly needs treating.

We didn't know why my husband was feeling 'off' other than he was running a very high temp. 1 hour later he was being blue lighted to A&E with suspected UTI related sepsis. Not kidney stones, but was confirmed as Sepsis so please don't just wait around too long.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates - Part 8

I was given antibiotics for a UTI 2 weeks ago and it did clear blood and infection markers from a urine dip test.

They have given me anti biotics for this along with codeine phosphate and a prostate relaxant which is meant to ease the passing ( but need it out of my kidney to bladder urethra first)

I know loads of people suffer this but I am at the starting point and know I have pain ahead. Maybe I will be able to laugh about it after hahaha
