Serves them right, I say. Why should people pay for matches they don't want to watch?!!

I don't think Kodi was around then.

May be so, but when Kodi arrived, I expect that these were some of the people to take advantage of it.

Not sure, all I recall is being able to buy a match and I'm sure it was before NTL was taken over by Virgin. Or maybe it was on ITV Digital?

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news

ITV Digital had their own sports channel which carried Fotoball League matches.

They ended up claiming that they had bid too much and wanted a reduction - in the end they closed without completing payment and left a lot of clubs in financial trouble who had already spent the money they did not get.

The PremPlus channel was carried on all platforms and the season ticket was actually good value.

I personally think the EPL should move to Sunday afternoon opening up the option to put all games out as PPV as a bulk or by-team option for all live matches.

Yes, it is. Doesn't stop 'em though!

That never launched. It'll either be PremPlus or something on On Digital.

BBC extends Premier League highlights deal.

Quote:

The deal also includes Match of the Day 2, Football Focus, plus The Premier League Show.
