How can you show execessive jerking and uncontrolabe shaking on the phone?:confused: My neighbour came back from 3 weeks holiday and couldn't believe the deteriation in me, having lost 2 stone and not able to walk without aid.

Can't believe you are having to go through all this without a face to face appointment with your GP. If you fall again, hopefully not, maybe getting an ambulance to lift you and telling them about your fast deterioration could get you get a face to face in A & E with someone who actually can help?

Wish I had a magic wand but all I can do is send you a massive virtual hug.

You got a polyclinic or anything near you, 10 weeks is crazy, either that or A&E as Jo suggests

I've just wrenched my back and can hardly move. Don't believe it, and I was only putting some leftover paper plates away!

Hot shower and strong painkillers as I've managed to loose 20lbs since the start of May and I'm determined to get some sort of walk in at the park this evening.

Hot shower will increase the blood flow meaning any inflammation will get worse

Hope he recovers soon.

Sadly he has to have a 5 to 6 hour operation next week and will need a temporary stoma bag for a while.

Having my first holiday in 4 years.

Im off to great Yarmouth, I normally take the M11 / A11 / A47, this takes 2 1/2 hours, but my route planners say I can't enter the A11 from the M11 and have to join it via the A14 past Camberidge, adding another hour to my journey.

Enjoy Hom3r, I am envious, not been to go on hols for some time. However today I am completely inconsolable I have lost our wedding ring after 47 years. Lucky me as Mr T is trying to console me by saying at least we have't lost each other, and the ring is replaceable we are'nt.:(

I am insensed, bought an electronic typewriter from EBAY uk, the item was just what I wanted, however I found because the ribbon was very faint I would have to order a replacement. I scoured the internet until I finally found a source describing replacement for my model number, it did not fit. The seller tried to imply that I was not inserting it properly, however when he saw the photos of the new and old ribbon, there was no denying they were different.
I then contacte Ebay about their money back guarantee, totally useless because the seller does not accept returns. It begs the question 'When is a guaranteed refund not a guarantee I have been buying from Ebay for almost 18 years I'll have to think twice in future.?:(

Get in touch and mention to ebay the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the item was A not as described and B not fit for purpose.

It reads
Quote:

Fit for purpose The goods should be fit for the purpose they are supplied for, as well as any specific purpose you made known to the retailer before you agreed to buy the goods.

As described The goods supplied must match any description given to you, or any models or samples shown to you at the time of purchase.
If you paid with paypal I would raise a claim with them as well

My weights arrived and as I had to order a smaller set and some spares as the set I wanted was out of stock (I am impatient) Should have read properly as they are not balanced for what I need on the dumbbells so I have had to spend another £34 on top on a set of 4x5KG cast iron weight plants. I think that is a fair price and saves me having to have a massive Vinyl weight and a smaller weight one side balanced with smaller weights the other. Ended up costing £140 in total but should have enough weights to keep me going a good while once they are all here

You lost a lot of 'pounds' there Jay. Thanks for the information above, but small print on the typewriter advert on Ebay states

Registered as a private seller Thereby, consumer rights stemming from EU consumer protection law do not apply. eBay buyer protection still applies to most purchases. :(

Rest assured I won't fall for that again.
