Cookies and Cream is alright but Vanilla Ice Cream is my favourite.

Still stuck on 92kg. Diet's been as normal protein shake for brunch, fruit if I get peckish then one main meal which includes a container of veg or salad.

Have you sorted your bike seat height yet it's been weeks since you mentioned it?

Yes I purchased the one Jaymoss recommended on AliExpress. I ended up fitting myself. It's a lot more comfy than the original.

Oops I forgot to mention ride height. It's not made much difference.

You will have to get used to it I guess or put your high heels on. :D

you are meant to hardly be able to touch the floor so the pedal rotation gets the full force from your legs. When you stop you lean slightly to your favoured side ( mine is left foot down ) with the opposite side pedal up so you and use that force to straighten up. If sat upright only my very tippy toes touch tarmac

My Timberland boots are far too heavy :D

I think it's my belly giving me the unbalanced feeling. I'm not confident on the bike therefore am looking for more stability one way being me able to be grounded in the unfortunate situation of needing to stop quickly.

OK so it's time for me to tap out when it comes to Ozempic.

The positives: I've dropped a stone in 3 to 4 weeks. Muscles looking far more ripped at 51 than I could imagine possible. I have the V shape I've wanted.

As I'm carrying less weight, cardio is much easier.

The negatives: You've heard of the side effects of the 'Zempic? Sweet weeping Jacob, you have no idea. For breakfast, I normally have either have Fuel's protein cornflakes or a bacon sandwich. Bacon is always medallions, cooked in the air fryer and wrapped in kitchen tissues once done to absorb any residual fat. The bread is diabetes-friendly sourdough. Hadn't had the bacon sandwich in ages, and the other day, after my last jab I had one.

By mid-morning, something didn't quite feel right and I went to the toilet. What happened next I can only describe as being something like the chest-bursting scene from Alien only it didn't come out of my chest and instead of everything being covered in red, it was brown. And it went on for ages. Where the hell all this came from I have no idea.

Also, constant heartburn. I'm going through a lot of Gaviscon.

Additionally, I've lost my appetite, which is the strangest feeling. I make my way through the day by covering my protein target with shakes, chicken slices, and other snacks.

So I'm happy to have lost a stone but the side effects just outweigh everything else. As soon as my appetite returns, I'll go back to bulking and continue with the extra cardio.

All in all, the Pen is great if you have a holiday coming up or something that you want to shift some weight for but I won't going back to it ever again.

I used to work with a guy whose idea of high praise for a good curry was that afterwards he could have “sh@ through the eye of a needle” …

It sounds like your breakfast just went straight through you, with whatever you had to drink, without stopping to wipe its feet in your intestines. That plus stomach acid can produce a far, far greater, thinner volume of material than your poor old ringpiece is accustomed to.

Not that I expect you took the time to breathe in the aroma but if it went through you that fast it probably still smelled of bacon. I hope you didn’t have that experience; I once got food poisoning from a bad breakfast and the smell of fried goods arising from my toilet bowl put me right off bacon for weeks.

Anyway, back to the topic … :D

(Addendum) Just had to explain to the missus why I was typing and sniggering, so I told her this, and she has surprisingly little sympathy for you (sorry!) as apparently this is a known side effect of Ozempic that takes 4-6 weeks to settle down once you start taking it.

Not sure raging Bombay Bum is worth it tbh. :disturbd:

Yep, when it first started to be mentioned, I took one look at the side effects and decided to stay well away from it.

It certainly wasn’t through the eye of a needle. If anything my accuracy became way off. In the words of Gregg Davies, it was a faecal Jackson Pollock.

No I don’t seek or deserve sympathy, I knew what I was signing up for. I’m around 5 weeks in from when I properly started so things should ease off soon.

The stone weight loss means the stress on my knees is a lot less so I’m aiming to use that to help keep it off.

I get a shit blast when taking seven seas cod liver oil plus multivitamins omega-3 and cod liver oil high strength omega-3. The toilet becomes very Coldplay yellow. I can't deny I love the sensation. Sticky logs are just not me.
