25 yard right-foot thunderbolt to beat Portsmouth last year. Passable Ronaldo impersonation. Had a few people wondering if they'd eaten some funny mushrooms.

Other than that, he can only score with his head (providing some mutt of a colleague *cough* Shearer *cough hasn't fouled someone to disallow the goal).

United still tracking Obi who has now returned to Lyn
Quote:

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson visited Norwegian club Lyn Oslo on Monday to press their claim for the transfer of Nigeria midfielder John Mikel Obi to the club.
BBC Sport

But the Chelsea interference comes to the fore again, it makes you wonder if Chelsea as a club, make it their main aim to stop, or try to persuade any half decent player going to Old Trafford, or any other club for that matter.

Chelsea have the power and resources to get anyone they want but if I was Obi I don't think it's possible for him to force his way past Makele, Essien, Cole, Duff , Lampard etc and would see United as a better option, Keane, Scholes and Giggs will be retiring soon so more chance of getting games and the club is proven to let youngsters through to the first team

I could be wrong, but his agent may have a bit to do with this saga.

'Mikel snubbed Fergie in Norway'

John-Obi Mikel refused to talk to Sir Alex Ferguson when the Manchester United manager went to Norway this week, according to Norwegian newspaper reports.

The youngster's agent John ****tu is incensed that Mikel was not told he would be meeting Ferguson this week when he was summoned to Andersen's office.

****tu called the meeting a "dirty trick" and says Mikel was "shocked" to see the United manager in Andersen's office.

He apparently shook Ferguson's hand but then sat at the opposite end of the office, refused to speak and then quickly left.

HAHA :D You'll have to guess what the agents surname is.
