As for his role in society, obviously there is no hope either, it is about time he was put on some kind of rehabilitaion, like 2 years in clink :erm:

I saw an interview with him on BBC a few weeks ago and they went through the list of what he's done in his career (punching a team mate in training, putting cigarette out in team mates eye etc.) and i couldn't believe that he was trying to get people to feel that he was the good guy and that it wasn't his fault etc. In my opinion he's just a thug and i will be suprised if any top club would want him in his team. I understand that he must be an easy target for yobs when he goes out, but why does he go out and react to these people?

Now that's just not right, you'd have West Hammer would have done the job for us today. Now the Goonies think they're in for a good season.

Yes, at least Arsenal with have 2 things to brag about by May - that they were top for Christmas and at one stage were 2 points clear of the eventual champions :)

Reading the sad news about Phil O'Donnell somehow makes everything else rather less important.

A freak result at Goodison, Everton completely outclassed Arsenal in the first half, then completely outclassed themselves in the second.

Never mind, African Cup of Nations anyone.;)

Jim.

Don't be daft - the premiership trophy will be displaying anti-London tendancies for several years to come. Your best bet is something like the League Cup.

get real Russ, you know there is more quality in the London teams then there is in the North.

Let's look at premiership winners since it began. Have they mostly been from London?

I am not so sure, but it was nice to read this article in the Times about Uniteds recent resurgence this season.
