I'm just linking to an article with a quote from BT. I see no particular reason for disbelieving it.

I thought you said you weren't making constant dismissals in the 'coming soon' thread, Den?

Well, what do you know, there's another one. Are you and muppetman working in the same room? :D

I certainly believe the links I post more than I believe the negative reactions you provide to these posts, Den!

I most certainly don't believe everything I read, Den, as my wife will confirm! Mind you, she is a Daily Mail reader!

To my mind, they would have been well advised to keep their position on this close to their chests. This is only going to encorage Amazon, Disney, Discovery and the like to test the waters. However, my view is that we could do far worse than seeing global streaming companies taking over, and in the long run, this will be the best arrangement for the punters.

Same old same old

If you read the communication (link posted somewhere back in this thread) you will learn that Amazon are not prepared to enter the bidding for premier league rights at anything like the current costs.

You must have shares in Amazon to keep posting this rubbish

So you prefer to believe one particular communication that you have not identified against all the items of news that are claiming the opposite.

It seems strange to me that because an item doesn't fit with your mindset, you just have to discredit it.

I guess we will see who is right soon enough.

He called it rubbish. If that's not discrediting it, I don't know what is!

No point in identifying it when you obviously ignored it first time round.

It was an article quoting a senior Amazon executive.

Not seen anything in print to support your Amazon obsession - with the exception of a throwaway remark from the Premier League chief speculating that Amazon may be bidding (always good to keep the current rights holders on their toes, and inflate the price)

Nice to see BBC has remembered that they also serve sports fans as opposed to reality drivel.

Shame they cannot find any money for mainstream sports, but very good news for the profile of minority sports that they will be showing and supporters of those sports.
