clicked 'order now' for my 200Mb boost on Thursday 2pm, got the 48hrs email etc, almost 3 days later and still no boost and MyVM still says 152Mb. Never had to wait this long for a boost order to be processed in the past.

Have you rebooted the SH?

Quite a few times, still have the 152Mb config. I do have the trial modem so that may have something to do with it. Guess I'll wait until tomorrow and see. :spin:

Yes i think you need to contact a mod on the trials team, I think James_W is online this morning on the forums atleast he was earlier.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but is the new modem a 100% must to get speeds above 100mb? Reason I ask is I have my current SH running in modem mode with an N66u taking care of the wireless connectivity.

That'll be everything to do with it. The modem you just boosted via the website is your 'production' one, not your trial one.

Re: Virgin Media 70, 150 & 200 Mb Upgrades

what a joke. From the get go the postcode checker and myvirginmedia have always said the speed upgrade would be available by the end of November. Now bear in mind that VM said that 90% of users would be upgraded by xmas and last week the postcode checker said that my area was now ready. I have just checked myvirginmedia and now it has to it'll be ready by end of March 2016 and the postcode checker says they'll be in contact between January and March. Surely it doesn't take them two weeks before their deadline to realise things wont be ready and they need to put it back by 5 months?

This is turning into even more of a joke than previous upgrades. Why set unrealistic targets when you know you haven't met previous ones?

My upgrade isn't due until the end of November either. A call to CS got me upgraded within 5 minutes.

Over the summer my SH1 100Mb was doubled to 200Mb as part of some trial, had to switch my N66U to Asuswrt-merlin to get hardware nat acceleration enabled so the N66U could use the full speed.

It appears to be a policy decision that the SH1 is not used above 100Mbps, probably due to the lousy wireless side. So they do not a config file for it on the system.

Customers on the old 152mbps tier can continue to use a Superhub 1.
