I am little surprised no one seemed to really want that job, it doesn't seem to be like the Chelsea, City or Madrid job where the manager will be changed every other year. They should win the league again next year with the team they have as well.

It was said the job was being turned down because PSG only wanted to hand the 'temp' with a 1 year deal because they want Wenger next year yet Blanc has got a 2 year deal:confused:

The Poyet story has leaked, seems like Ashley's plan is now in the public eye.

The guy on twitter was clearly referring to this but had the timescale wrong, it's evidently clear now that Poyet will be offered the Newcastle job should Alan Pardew walk which seems inevitable with constant press and the mammoth Kinnear breathing down his neck. If Pardew could make a case of it, he could then go on to sue Newcastle United for constructive dismissal.

There's more to that than meets the eye, apparently it's a one year rolling contract with a clause for seven years compensation to be paid if he gets poached.
