Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
Celtic v Barcelona: Celtic are great at home but rubbish away so they need to be 2-0 to go to Spain to have any chance of getting through alough they have had a few decent results in the group stages and have a bit of a rep for playing in the big games
Lyon v Manchester United: Man U to get through cant see Lyon being too much of an issue for them to be honest Liverpool v Inter Milan Tough draw for Liverpool I think they are maybe in the same boat as Celtic. If they have lead going into the away leg they should be ok Arsenal v AC Milan This is a good match up and very close to call as well anyones game Olympiakos v Chelsea Would expect Chelsea to win away leg 1-0 then finish the job at home ---------- Post added at 11:47 ---------- Previous post was at 11:46 ---------- Quote:

Nice to see Spurs doing badly after all the hot air they were emitting over the summer. I was hoping they would do worse after losing Jol though, he did not deserve to go imo.

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
Interesting Boxing day fixtures ahead.
Only one of the big four at home, and that is Chelsea V Aston Villa. It would be nice to see Derby spring a surprise result, along with Portsmouth :D Also, I am hoping the Sunderland players are hungover by a large dinner from the previous day... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...es/default.stm |

Could have been a brilliant boxing day if Liverpool didn't get a last minute goal with Chelsea and Arsenal drawing and United giving Sunderland a lesson in football :D |
