Wonder how long before I have more problems though, I lost ability to send mail using SMTP access for a couple of months earlier this year.

I can ping IMAP.ntlworld.com and IMAP.virginmedia.com (resolve to different ip addresses) however I can only receive email via IMAP.virginmedia.com

Still says IMAP.ntlworld.com is not responding

If I telnet onto it, it seems fine to me.
