It is , a lot sharper and easier on the eye , there's a few subtle changes without feeling alien to you. We had version 49.20 downloaded last night , this must be the release candidate as some are reporting they received the new guide last night and were not on the beta trial.

According to a Sky employee on AV Forums the Reading postcode will be the first to update:

Re: New Sky Guide Beta - Your thoughts and issues.

I'm sure you alreay know as it is from the same thread you linked to earlier today, the Sky employee confirmed that 1m users got the EPG upgrade on 12 June. I'm guessing this is in the Reading area as thats the postcode he gave for the first batch of upgrades.

He said no confirmed dates for the next batch so I guess my hopes that I would be next as I'm down the road from Reading were perhaps optimistic:D

i presume your sky box needs to be on and plugged in to record remote?

Or is it linked to your account, therefore it catches up once plugged in

Does that sound daft? (dafter? :D)
