So they were Celtic fans then?

As for Rangers, they more sectarian fans would support the UVF

I have been to an old firm game, And l can tell you l would rather watch a derby game Arsenal v Spurs.

With the old firm games you have to look over your shoulder, being a proud Londoner l was invited to a old firm game by my brother in laws, BUT told not speak during the game in case of problems.

You only have to watch YouTube about these games to find out the troubles its causes.

I went to the London Cup at Wembley which involved Celtic, every pub l went to the Celtic fans were banned near the ground, if that doesn't tell you anything, l don't know what will.

Which is why I am hoping the demise of Rangers and the reorganisation and renaming of Celtic into a non-sertarian football club, will finish this excuse to have a fight

Alan Fry, Sadly, with if Rangers went out of business the problem between the clubs will always be there.

You cannot get a leopard to change its spots - thats the same between these clubs.

Also, what would happen to the SPL if Rangers did shut down?

Most fans would prefer to support their team rather than something else, that's kind of what makes them fans.

If they shut down the current TV deal becomes null and void, that coupled with teams losing two of their biggest paydays from Rangers games will send some clubs to the wall.

Yes there is a rise in assaults and disorder after the match, actual arrests at the game are very small. There is also a big jump in assaults and disorder after Scotland international matches which can't be blamed on sectarianism.

Yes, but if they club goes down, what will they do then?

I mean, for a long time they just like to have a go at Celtic when they should have been looking at the way the club was run

So they will end up setting up a "new" Rangers?

How many Scottish Fottball club might go under and does that include Celtic?

As for old firm derby, i am sure the day the police hate the most is when there is a old firm derby, not sury why there is assaults and disorder after Scotland international matches

LondonRoad...and the state of scottish football is an english problem....how..we english will never let the anti english, provo loving, pub bomber worshipping, football club known as celtic or its fans into english football ever...we will never forgive what your "heros"did in england..so you're destined to stay in the SPHell forever, where your team will slowly stagnate, wither and die...how long do you think mr lawell will stay at celtic now he knows hes backed the wrong donkey, and his team will never get into english football......ENGLAND FOREVER BRITAIN NEVER....
