What has this firmware up/downgrade done for the tivo? Except blocking this 3rd party app?

Its is improving stability and is improving the Youtube app as well and " gearing up for the launch of new red button services " what ever that means.

I so understand would really like. Pick your box/es . now pick your channels

base it on the choice now , say 50 ,100 or 150 (+ sky extras)

Me I would have a hard time to get up to 50. In reality I think that this would be the case for a lot of households. Do must people watch/ use more that 50.

If so being honest name them ! in my head I got to about 20 we really use.:shocked:

Will this upgrade / downgrade correct the appalling decision in the last upgrade / downgrade to remove the 'Options' selection when you set a recording so that you can quickly change it so it isn't a 'one minute early, four minutes extra, save until space needed' recording?

I really found that useful. Can't believe it was removed when you set a recording.

I DON'T WANT MY RECORDINGS TO ALL BE PRESET TO ONE MIN EARLY, FOUR MINS EXTRA, SAVE UNTIL SPACE NEEDED!!! I WANT TO CHOOSE THE OPTIONS AS QUICKLY AND EASILY AS I COULD DO BEFORE.

Tell the moaners it's a no brainer DF. It needs to be brought back!!! It's these things that VM just doesn't get right. Choice not preset!!!

Surely it would be better for VM to invest in a dynamic epg then no padding would be needed.;)

Agree. Freeview has had this for years, no padding needed. About time cable caught up.

You can still change it yourself by selecting the bottom option (can't think what it is off the top of my head) when you select to record. You can change the options at that point. HTH
